Sarah Mack
Sarah is a co-teacher in the preschool program at Roots Community School. Her passion for play-based learning began when her own children attended a preschool rooted in that philosophy—an experience that shaped her belief in the power of play to spark curiosity, build confidence, and nurture a lifelong love of learning. In the classroom, she brings this philosophy to life by creating rich sensory experiences, leading engaging art projects, reading aloud, and cultivating an environment where children feel safe, seen, and at home.
Sarah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Washington, as well as certifications in mindset and health coaching. Beyond the classroom, she enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling with her family.
“The preschool class quickly becomes a second home at Roots. I adore the kids so much, and feel blessed to get to experience the world through their eyes. I enjoy getting to watch them explore, play, learn, and grow throughout the year!”
