Elani Moody
Elani brings vibrant energy and a deep artistic passion to her role as Art Teacher at Roots Community School, where she has taught for the past four years. She is known for her creativity, enthusiasm, and ability to inspire students through visual expression and imaginative exploration.
With 18 years of experience teaching art in a variety of settings—including private schools, public schools, and homeschool co-ops—Elani has also offered private art classes and led her own art camps. Beyond working with children, she has taught numerous adults through private Sip & Paint events at various venues and homes, as well as facilitating unique team-building art experiences for companies and organizations such as Microsoft, the Flight Museum, and several schools and churches.
In addition to her professional teaching experience, Elani has homeschooled all five of her children and continues to homeschool her youngest two. Her diverse teaching background, spanning multiple environments and age groups, allows her to bring a personalized and flexible approach to the classroom—one that values both individual growth and creative collaboration, helping every learner succeed in their endeavors.
