Kelsy Bordner

Kelsy Bordner is a dedicated educator and leader at Roots, bringing both her expertise in teaching and her insight as a member of the Board of Directors. She teaches 3rd and 4th grade math, creating a classroom where students feel both challenged and supported.

Kelsy holds a B.A. and M.A. in Education from Azusa Pacific University and has over a decade of teaching experience. She has also led and organized children’s programs in the community, reflecting her passion for supporting young learners in every environment.

Kelsy is known for making math approachable and engaging, tailoring lessons to meet students where they are and helping them build both skills and confidence. Parents and colleagues admire her dedication, thoughtful leadership, and the calm, supportive presence she brings to Roots. Her dual role as teacher and board member underscores her deep commitment to the success of both her students and the school as a whole.
