Madison McCormick

Madison brings a strong background in healthcare administration, quality improvement, and organizational support to her role as Administrative Assistant at Roots Community School. With a passion for organization, communication, and supporting others, she enjoys helping create a welcoming and supportive environment for students, families, and staff. Her experience in healthcare has given her a strong foundation in problem solving, attention to detail, and working collaboratively to keep things running smoothly.

Madison graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree and holds a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality certification. Before transitioning into her role at Roots, she built her career in healthcare administration, working in behavioral health and hospital operations, most recently in quality and compliance at Lake Chelan Health.

Originally from the Seattle area, Madison moved to the Chelan community with her family in 2022 in hopes of creating a better quality of life and more opportunities for her children. She is now proud to be part of the Roots community, where she gets to experience the school not only as a staff member but also as a parent, with two children attending preschool at Roots!

Outside of school, Madison is also a local small business owner and enjoys making the most of everything the Chelan community has to offer. Some of her favorite things include spending summer days on the water with her kids, gardening, and cooking. She works part-time in the mornings, allowing her to balance her professional life with being an involved mom and member of the community.

A few words from Madison:

"I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the Roots Community School family. Having two little ones attend preschool here makes this community especially meaningful to me. I love being part of a school that values connection, growth, and creating a positive environment where children can learn and thrive. I look forward to supporting our students, families, and staff and helping make each day at Roots a little easier and brighter!"
