Johanna Schuldt

Preschool Director and Lead Preschool Teacher

Johanna graduated from Central Washington University in 2006 with a BA in Family and Consumer Sciences, focusing on family studies with a minor in psychology. She also completed an occupational therapy assistant degree in 2012.

She worked for the Chelan School District as a lead preschool teacher for the ECEAP and special education program from 2007-2012. After becoming a certified occupational therapy assistant (COTA), she spent 5 years working in sub-acute rehab and home healthcare.

After having her second baby she stepped away from health care to focus on raising her 2 girls. During this time, she volunteered in the Little Pines Preschool at Roots frequently. She then became the assistant preschool teacher with Sarah Whitehall. Now she is the lead teacher and director of preschool programs.

I am excited to be a part of the preschool where I can use my skills and education for both early learning and occupational therapy. I am eager to help support and guide our youngest learners to develop their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills to give them a strong foundation for a love of learning that will carry them through their years of education.”
