Current Openings:

Part Time PE Teacher

This role will be 3-4 hours a week, teaching grades 3rd-8th during the 2024-2025 school year.

Along with implementing a robust, well-rounded physical education program, other responsibilities include collaboration with staff and families.

Teaching at Roots Community School

Our educators are enthusiastic, creative, knowledgeable, flexible and child-centered. They have experience in creative problem-solving and inquiry/project-based education. 

Roots teachers implement classroom curriculum across content areas, actively participate in class outings and collaborate with staff and families.

Core classroom teachers have all earned their Washington State Teacher certificate and have successful elementary level teaching experience.
